Purposes of MHS SPADA:

to contribute annually for the benefit of the senior class of Mililani High School for the specific purpose of assisting in graduation activities and programs.
to operate exclusively for charitable, religious, literary, educational and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) (or any future corresponding provisions) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (as now enacted or hereafter amended or recodified, the "Code"), including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as tax-exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
Confusion...Let me clarify.
The Board of Directors for SPADA works hard to have a great program. With that in mind we depend on volunteers and community leaders to help raise funds. We have asked for all families who have a student graduating to volunteer for different events. We ask that the student or parent give 9 hours of volunteer time to receive the cheapest price. You get one credit for every 3 hour shift and that can be earned by either a student or parent. If a parent & student volunteer for the same shift they will only earn 1 credit. Please consider working 3 shifts at what ever SPADA offers and split up! If a parent & student volunteer for the same shift they will only earn 1 credit.
Project Grad 2018 will come sooner than you can imagine!
If you have signed up to fund raise and earn the 9 credits towards the Project Grad price of $175.00, please watch for emails and text reminders. We will usually send them out 2-3 days prior to each event. If you have not sent SPADA an email...please do! This will assure that we have the correct email for your student.
This will be the pricing for the 2018 Project Grad event....
$175.00 for families/students who volunteer at three SPADA events (3 credits = 9 hours). Each event will give you 1 credit for every 3 hours volunteering. If you would like to volunteer for any events...come to MHS on September 25th to sign up. Payments for those who volunteer at SPADA events will NOT pay until after all 9 hours of volunteering are complete. NON-REFUNDABLE
$300.00 will be the registration price for the 2018 PROJECT GRAD event. We hope every parent will take advantage of the SPADA volunteer events or come to the September 25th ONE NIGHT ONLY REGISTRATION EVENT! NON-REFUNDABLE
