Welcome to the mhs Students and Parents Against Drugs and Alcohol, Inc. website!
Purposes of MHS SPADA:
to provide a mechanism for the community to build a broad base of financial support for the Students and Parents Against Drugs and Alcohol Committee of Mililani High School in Mililani, State of Hawaii.
to contribute annually for the benefit of the senior class of Mililani High School for the specific purpose of assisting in graduation activities and programs.
to operate exclusively for charitable, religious, literary, educational and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) (or any future corresponding provisions) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (as now enacted or hereafter amended or recodified, the "Code"), including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as tax-exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
Confusion...Let me clarify.
The Board of Directors for SPADA works hard to have a great program. With that in mind we depend on volunteers and community leaders to help raise funds. We have asked for all families who have a student graduating to volunteer for different events. We ask that the student or parent give 9 hours of volunteer time to receive the cheapest price. You get one credit for every 3 hour shift and that can be earned by either a student or parent. If a parent & student volunteer for the same shift they will only earn 1 credit. Please consider working 3 shifts at what ever SPADA offers and split up! If a parent & student volunteer for the same shift they will only earn 1 credit.
Profect Grad 2017 will come sooner than you can imagine!
Support PTSO HI-5 Recycling at MHS!
We will NOT be doing Hi-5 anymore, but PTSO will! We appreciate all those folks who have been loyal to us and brought your re-cycle over the last 15 years.
